What Is an Energy Healing Treatment?
Since the dawn of time, healers, shamans, spiritual practitioners, medicine men and women around the world have included an invisible dimension in their healing practices.
This invisible dimension is that of energy.
Energy is the foundation of all matter.
Energy healing practices are based on the idea that energy underlies matterthat it is the very foundation of it, as modern physics also confirms.
Matter is nothing more than condensed energy: by having an impact on an energetical level, though invisible to the naked eye, we also have an impact on matter.
Elementary particles, the smallest components of matter, are themselves made of energy.
Usui Reiki

The Ethics of Usui Reiki
Beyond being an energy technique that promotes balance on a holistic level (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) being a Usui Reiki practitioner also means embracing a certain philosophy of life, one that is non-religious and non-dogmatic.
Although influenced by Buddhism, the practice of Usui Reiki is open to everyone and free from any form of dogma. Historically, this openness can be explained by the fact that Japan at the time was divided between two main religions, Shintoism and Buddhism. Mikao Usui was determined to ensure that this practice would be accessible to all, regardless of their beliefs.

Rainbow Reiki®
It is a method developed in the 1980s by Walter Lübeck, a German spiritual teacher and internationally renowned author of 20 books, including seven on Reiki, among them The Quintessence of Reiki, co-written with William Lee Rand and Frank Arjava Petter.
The techniques of Rainbow Reiki® complement those of the Usui system by offering a greater variety of applications.
Indeed, since Mikao Usui passed away shortly after discovering Reiki, his successors each contributed their own additions and adaptations according to their time. Walter Lübeck, through Frank Arjava Petter, went back to the very source of this Japanese knowledge, in search of the Reiki masters in Japan who did not descend from the Western lineage. In fact, Reiki had been brought to the West by Hawayo Takata in Hawaii during World War II, and it had long been believed that Reiki knowledge had not survived in Japan.
The lignée de Reiki de Walter Lübeck is therefore both Western and Japanese.
